At the Seattle Arab Festival (SAF), we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to explore and celebrate the beauty of diverse cultures.
Driven by a deep passion for Arab heritage, our mission is to create a welcoming space where people from all backgrounds can come together, connect, and learn from one another. Through music, food, art, and community engagement, we aim to highlight the rich traditions of the Arab world while fostering unity and understanding.
About SAF
The Seattle Arab Festival (SAF) is a non-profit, volunteer-run cultural organization and the largest Arab cultural festival in the Pacific Northwest, dedicated to celebrating the cultures, heritage, and living traditions of the member states of the Arab League. Held annually as part of the Seattle Center Festál series at Seattle Center, SAF is a two-day, family-friendly festival that brings together music, dance, art, food, fashion, history, and community storytelling from across the Arab world.
The festival features a vibrant Middle Eastern marketplace with carefully curated vendors, authentic Arab and Middle Eastern cuisine, handcrafted goods, traditional and contemporary live performances, cultural exhibits, and educational booths designed to promote cross-cultural understanding. SAF proudly showcases Arab artists, performers, chefs, artisans, and small businesses, offering visitors an immersive experience that highlights the diversity of Arab cultures—from the Levant and the Gulf to North Africa and beyond.
Organized entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, the Seattle Arab Festival is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible cultural event for people of all backgrounds, whether they are deeply connected to Arab heritage or discovering it for the first time. Each year, visitors from Seattle, Washington State, Oregon, Vancouver, and across the Pacific Northwest gather to celebrate community, creativity, and cultural exchange.
